The views from the apartment overlook the ocean and within the apartment complex are 6 swimming pools, the main pool also has a baby pool. There are 2 restaurants within the complex, and also a Country Club complete with a 5 star Spa (excellent for those relaxing massages and manicures!) and a 3 hole golf course and driving range if you fancy something more strenuous (both of the aforementioned are paid locally!). For the more serious golfer there are a number of other 18 hole golf courses of a high standard close by.
The property would suit most people but is particularly good if you like to relax in peace and quite around the pool in the daytime, as the complex is quite quiet. However, that is not to say that there is no life in the area.
The apartment is situated between Estepona and Du Quesa, both of which have lively ports full of a wide range of restaurants catering for all tastes. If you fancy something a bit more lively, then a taxi into Peurto Banus is approximately 40 euros. The apartment is a very good size and is great if you are a family as there are 2 separate bedrooms.
The close proximity of Carrefour (approx 6 kms) means that self catering is easy with the fully equipped kitchen enabling you put the kids down, and enjoy a drink on the terrace in peace! Equally the apartment would suit 2 couples. If you are a slightly larger group then there is a comfy sofa bed in the lounge area.
Extra information about the property
The apartment is situated between Estapona and Du Quesa on the Costa del Sol. It is a beautiful area surrounded by mountains on one side, and the beach and the ocean on the other. Estepona is a mid sized town which has a beach front running the entire length.
The beach (due to its size) is not crowded and bars and restaurants are situated the whole way along. There are plenty of children's play areas on the promenade (swings & slides and such like). Estepona has its own port which is a lively part of town at night, with a great number of restaurants and bars situated on the quay side.
The ‘old town’ in Estepona is another nice place to visit, as it holds a market during the day and is lively at night. Du Quesa is a really picturesque port, and also has a lovely beach. At night the restaurants are popular (particularly on a Saturday) and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
The nice thing about both Estepona and Du Quesa is that they both really have a Spanish feel to them, although there is a fair few English both ex-pats and tourists, but both towns are much, much quieter and intimate than somewhere further up the coast such as Marbella.
