In the evening, a short walk will take you to numerous bars and restaurants or you can choose to take a leisurely stroll along the promenade.
Estepona is 5 minutes away by car and this bustling seaside town offers a busy beach with special facilities for children and a wonderful long promenade on which to stoll. There are many opportunities to eat and drink at your leisure and, when you are ready, you can shop in the local town where you will find everything from small local shops to designer clothes outlets. There is a street maket in the town every Wednesday from 9am to 2pm and a smaller one in the port on Sunday mornings which has a wonderful atmosphere.
There are numerous golf courses along this part of the coast, there is also local tennis or you can take a ride in a stretch limo around Marbella or take a trip by boat to see the dolphins. Selwo Adventura is the largest zoo on the Costa del Sol where you can see 2000 animals in their natural habitat.
Puerto Banus, a 10 minute drive, offers designer shopping, exciting nightlife and the best tourist market in the area on a Saturday morning.
A 30 minute drive will take you to Gibraltar to ride on the cable car and see the apes. Also duty free shopping. Don't forget your passport!
