Europe Destination Guide
There are thousands of rental apartments in Europe and other accommodation available to let within its many countries. With a surface area of 3,930,000 Square miles is the world’s second smallest continent. Four main bodies of water wash it’s shores; from the freezing Arctic Ocean in the North to the beautifully contrasting Mediterranean Sea in the South. There is the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Black Sea in the east.
Even though it is the second smallest continent by area, Europe is still home to 11% of the world’s population. Europe is swamped in culture & history making it a hugely popular tourist destination for holiday makers and back packers from all over the world. There are some fabulous holiday apartments to rent as well as other types of rental accommodation on offer in Europe. It just depends on what you are looking for.
London, the capital city of Great Britain, is a great starting point. The home of England’s famously captivating Royal Family, historic cathedrals and monuments and the vast number of museums and art galleries makes London a great place for sight seeing tourists. It is also the largest urban area in the whole of Great Britain and within it you will be able to find many places to stay, from inner city holiday apartments to cottages on the greener, prettier outskirts. Being only a relatively small island, the countryside is often not far from the many bustling towns & cities.
If it’s ancient history you’re looking for, venture across to France, through Switzerland & Italy until you reach Greece. A lot of western culture has been attributed to the Ancient Greeks as well as the Ancient Romans. Both have an abundance of temples, amphitheatres and historic ruins to wander around.
Rental accommodation in Europe is plentiful and varied and ranges from the cheaper holiday apartments to the more extravagant luxury villas, both of which are often widely available for holiday lettings. You can chose to plan your trip well in advance if you’re visiting just one place, or as many travellers do, wait until you get to your chosen destination before deciding on where to stay – this is of course not advised during the high season months!
The weather does vary widely across the continent so you will need to do some research before you decide when and where to visit. From the snowy & icy conditions in the North during the winter months to the dry, sun baked weather renowned in the south during the summer. The whole of Europe does share the same seasonal months however, with winter being generally from November to March and the hotter summer months being from June to September. Most of Europe is protected by the Gulf Stream – Europe’s central heating! – and falls under what is known as the Temperate Climate Zone.
No matter where you go within this fascinating continent, there is an abundance of rentals properties and accommodation in Europe for you to chose from, you are bound to find something to suit and you are sure not to be disappointed!
